New Microsoft Surface Studio: All-in-one Desktop PC
Finally Microsoft comes up with a brand new All-in-one laptop in the form of Surface Studio. It is as heard designed for the “creators” and is of a high quality performance.
It is highly priced desktop for professionals or anyone who can afford such a price on desktop. It came for pre-order on $2,999 and up and was made available in Microsoft Store locations and for those who want to have a look it on person can have that too.
It is a powerful workstation with a 28inch PixelSense display offers a tarpaulin for all kinds of work and indeed a bliss for video editors, graphic designers. Its display helps in visualizing what your creative mind has in store. It captures your ideas within 13.5million pixels of true-to-life colour and clarity. The system has an aluminium enclosure and houses a 1.3 mm LCD with 0.5 inch thickness. 1inch of Surface Studio equates exactly the inch in real life thus it is like “True Scale” Screen.
It has an Intel® Core™ i5/i7 processor and NVIDIA ® GeForce ® dGPU and supports 32GB RAM along with 2TB of Storage. It has a meticulously crafted design, sits perfectly within your desk, with clean lines and small footprint. Surface Studio has a new tool for creative process in the form of Surface Dial, other features including Surface Ergonomic Keyboard, Surface mouse and it also runs Office and Windows perfectly. It also features a hinge that lets you lie your PC flat and can keep away keyboard or a mouse. There are other features like Mini Display Port, Ethernet, SD Card and audio jacks and three USB 3.0 ports. And its base features has 2.1 channel stereo speakers and the system comes with 270 watt power adapter. A microphone with Cortana voice assistant, a Windows Hello-ready Surface Studio Camera and support for Xbox wireless controllers spices up the specs of this master crafted PC experience.
Surface Studio will be available only in limited quantities and the shipping will begin from 15th of December as per Microsoft Store website updates. With $2,999 price tag you will get a model with 8GB RAM, 1TB storage, an Intel Core i5 Skylake processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M graphics. The Core i7 model with 16GB of RAM will cost you $3,499 and the top model Core i7, 32GB RAM, 2TB of storage and GTX 980M graphics is priced at $4,199.
