Remove unwanted Apps with Debloater from your Android Device

The Android device that you bought recently may be loaded with certain apps by the manufacturer. Unfortunately the problem with these apps is that the user is not allowed to remove them. But from the Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android (Android 4.0), this situation changed and users are now allowed to disable those unwanted apps by their own. But if the user is annoyed of a number of apps, then disabling each one them, may take quite some time.

So as a solution for this Gatesjunior, XDA-Developers.com member has come up with a program, with the help of which users are able to disable unwanted apps on their list within moments. The program itself is named as Debloater, with the help of which users of smartphones of Android OS can now get rid of unwanted applications. This might save the time of the users.

Debloater

Inorder to download the program you have to go to XDA Forums Page, where you are able to find the download link to the bottom of the initial page. For initiating the process, you not only require the app but also need to download and install the most appropriate drivers that suit your device. These drivers can be downloaded from the website of your device manufacturer or by searching over the Google.

Make it Ready

Immediately after installing the drivers but before plugging them to your device, you need to facilitate ADB (Android Debug Bridge). You are able to find this from Developer’s Menu which will be hidden in your gadget’s Settings Menu. To enable ADB, you have to tap and open Android Settings Menu, then you have to go down to open About Phone. There you may find the Build Number. You have to tap it to so many times until you see a pop-up message appreciating you on your special developer status. With this process you just unlocked Developer Options Menu in Android Settings. Now again go to the same old menu and go down to find Debugging option. There you have to enable Android Debugging option.

Now you have to connect your handset. Windows will pop-up a message flashing Installing New Hardware for a while. Then you will be able to see a message on your handset asking your permission by the system to for accessing the ADB. You have to grant the permission by pressing the Yes Button, on the message. Suppose if you are not able to see this message, you have to reset the access permission to fasten the pop-up when you connect your handset for the second time. This can be done by selecting Developer Options menu and then by selecting Revoke USB Authorizations menu.

Now it is time to use Debloater

Initially you have to confirm the warning that your device has the ability to avoid your gadget from booting. Here you have to select to stop an important system package from functioning. Otherwise inorder to function your handset again, you have to perform factory reset, which will wipe your entire data. So care should be taken to select the right set of programs before you press on Apply Button. Since you have known with the conditions, now you can hit on Press here to begin or Read Device Packages. This will present the list of programs along with those unwanted before you.

Selecting Packages

Here comes the heart of Bloatware program. All you have to do is to select those unwanted tools and click on Apply Button. You can enhance the process speed of selecting the tools with the help of Filter option and then entering the name of the package or part of it. If you have disabled any packages you can enable it by selecting UnBlock All Packages and the hitting Apply Button.

Exporting Packages

One of the major advantages that makes Debloater user friendly is its ability to export the list of those unwanted tools. This means that if the user accidently had enabled any of the previously disabled tools, then they will be able to disable those tools once again by going back to the list. But to make such a list once again you have to stop those packages in your gadget initially by following the steps given above. Then you have to right click on the option of Read Device Package inorder to get into Options Menu. Then you have to get to Export>> Blocked Packages and then store them somewhere secure. If you want to import then just got to Import>> Blocked Packages and then select those files which you have stored earlier. Finally you are safe from the annoying unwanted tools and programs in your handset.
