Home » Surface Hub: The giant computer from Microsoft

Microsoft gifts the professional world with a complete 84-inch enormous Smart TV Windows, named as Surface Hub. As the name suggests, it is a hub for all the devices in a professional atmosphere. This giant that has the capabilities to remodel the scene of a conference or group meeting was announced at Microsoft’s Windows 10 consumer event.

Microsoft surface hub

Surface Hub that operates on the up-to-the-minute version of Redmond’s operating system,Windows 10, integrates the features such as 4K screen, sensors, touch screen, microphones, speakers, dual cameras, Wi-Fi and NFC. This makes it ideal for a range of applications, from the role of white board to video conferencing tool. It has a laminated screen. Surface Hub uses LCD panel production technology that places the glass, LCD panel and the capacitive film in one sheet. This results in a less reflective surface.

It lets the users scribble anything on it as it comes with precise digital pens that cling to the sides of the screen magnetically. The good news is that it supports more than one digital pen at a time. This allows multiple users to write on this board at the same time. The other side of this digital pen can be used as an eraser. As it comes with the mics, cameras and speakers, it can be used to place a voice or video call through Skype. It can improve the interactivity of the professionals with its collection of apps crafted to catch notes, create pictures or presentations, and even more. The contents from the web such as figures, maps or models can be refined in an office with the use of Surface Hub. It do not have any login screen and give the users quick access to apps like OneNote based whiteboard , Skype, etc. It can spot the active user with the help of active audio and video bars placed at the either sides of the big screen.

The details about the price and availability of Surface Hub are not known yet. The release is expected later in this year.
