MSI CUBI : Smallest mini PC ever Introduced
Man always confronted with the problem of space. In house, office, public transport facilities, public places, everywhere he is facing the problem of not having enough space. Due to lack of this space man always wanted small things with premium uses. Suiting this nature of man, MSI has with a unique design of desktop PC and they named it as MSI Cubi. This one is to be the smallest mini PC ever introduced till date to the market.
This smallest PC ever made and introduced to market, measures to have a dimension of 11.5 cm*11.1cm*3.5cm. It is as small as that. It has been manufactured by keeping the concept of nifty technology and also by an excellent design that favours both consumers and business man. Cubi has been assembled with either Intel Core i5-5200u or i3-5005U or Pentium-3805U or Celeron processor, also with available graphics.
With the application of extensive range of Intel processors, clients can have the advantage of powerful portable size PC. With portable multiple modular hard disks users can store a large volume of data too. MSI Cubic can be held on a wall by VESA standards or can be connected to HDTV so that the user can have high definition media entertainment at living space.
When it comes to commercial use, Cubi couples with Intel vPro technology that ensures a safe and manageable work atmosphere. Cubi comes with lots of ports through which it can be connected to various external devices. It is available to market and business class users in black and white version. The company will be launching their device by the end of March 2015.
Windows 8.1 powers as Cubi’s operating system. The device is powered with 4 GB DDR3L memory. Using the Intel’s latest Broadwell u 14nm processor, the power consumption amounts to less than15W, this is almost 30% less than the previous generation. Intel powered CPU with Graphics provides for much better performance in multimedia applications.
Additional features includes four 3.0 USB ports for faster data transfer between storage devices, Ethernet, HDMI port for data connectivity, Mini Display Port, a headset jack for enjoying music and videos with high quality sound, and 802.11 ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for external connectivity. MSI positions the new device to be used in home as well as in business environment. Since it size is as low as 0.45 litre case, this can be transmitted so easily between places, handled easily, and most importantly it requires much low space in your living room. The time of carrying large cases of CPU are over with the introduction of MSI Cubi.
