We can describe this as a right mixture of Innovation and pure experience of PC making. HP Sprout is going to revolutionize all the current aspects of personal computers. The PC is well designed to cope up with the time bounded tasks of the user. In short, Sprout is an all in one PC to replicate the real world with perfection.
Apart from a conventional style of PC making, it consists of a 20 inch capacitive touch mat with 20-point touch which replaces the keyboard and mouse concept. This invites our hands to do the job instead of a mechanical approach. The backbone of the PC is the “Sprout Illuminator”, which is fixed to the top of 23-Inch touchscreen Display. The Sprout Illuminator consist of a scanner with a 4-camera system based on Intel’s RealSense 3D Camera, a Depth Sensor,14.6 Megapixel high resolution camera and HP DLP Projector. The common user may not enjoy the Geeky style and has the ability to draw the serious attention of creative customers.
The User can interact with the PC via fully touch based user interface on Windows 8.1 platform. The system enables the users to scan and manipulate 2D and 3D objects directly into the PC, Adonit Jot Pro stylus is available with the PC which can be used to draw on the touch mat and view the object from different perspectives. Literally you can digitally carve and modify any object around. Another important feature is the touch based apps. HP has created variety of touch based apps that obviously supports gestures which includes McAfee LiveSafe which is a decent PC security choice, CyberLink PowerDirector: Easy to use tool for Video Production and the basic utilities like Evernote: Netflix; Skype; Adobe Reader; Bing Translator; Fresh Paint; Microsoft Project Spark; Piano Time and The Weather Channel makes it trendy.
HP has succeeded in bringing down the distance between the real world and the 3D modeling using the superfast and efficient Intel Core i7-4790S CPU and 8 GB of memory. The 1 TB storage is an extravagant feature for the users. It also comes with the basic features like 3-in-1 memory card reader, HP HD 1 MP Webcam and also supports the latest USB 3.0 technology. DTS Sound + integrated Speakers will definitely bring magical experience.
Techies may wonder why there is an Intel HD 4600 integrated GPU with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 745A for the graphics as it is not necessary. The main advantage using both GPU is that when heavy graphics is needed the user can rely on NVIDIA GeForce GT 745A and Intel HD 4600 for simple tasks as power consumption is less. Sprout is supposed to be released on Nov 9, 2014 with an estimated price of $1,899.99. This is a bit pricey. But innovation is always costly. Currently there is no other product that can compete with the HP product they will definitely make use of this. We can conclude that Sprout is a very bold attempt from HP which completely lacks the traditional PC designs and has the potential to deliver massive results.
