Elgato announces Eve, Avea smart LED and Smart Power Batteries
Elgato announces three new products – Eve, Avea, and Smart Power ahead of Homekit’s arrival.
With the use of Elgato’s Eve, Avea, and Smart Power you can monitor your home with your iPhone or iPad. Users can keep track of their home atmosphere, lighting ambience, and can self-monitor and adjust the power consumption according to your lifestyle and budget. These newest Elgato products can be tethered to Iphone and Ipad via Bluetooth. Putting it simply, you can control the comfort of your home at your fingertips!!! The best part is that the Eve app has a total compatibility with Apple’s HomeKit. The goal behind Elgato is to make your home fully automatic. Elgato is probably trying to announce in advance any products that its competitor Apple may bring to light.
Elgato Eve – Monitoring system for home comfort
Eve is the newest, most challenging product which Elgato announces. Eve monitors the air, power, and water of your home. This means that you can now use Eve to keep track of your home’s air quality – pressure, temperature, and humidity. Eve has multiple sensors which send data to your iPhone or iPad. These information help users to perceive on how best to improve their home ambience and make it a better and a smarter place to live in. Elgato announced a range of Eve brand products like eve room, eve weather, eve water, eve doors and windows, eve smoke, eve energy and so on. These products will sense when doors and windows are opened. Pricing and availability of Eve products is not yet known, but Elgato claims to announce it soon.
Avea – Smart LED bulb.
This smart bulb can change color, has different color shades. You can create your own lighting aura. This bulb can connect to your iPhone or iPad directly using Bluetooth unlike others which need an external hub. With just a tap of your finger from your idevice you can control your lights and create multiple lighting moods in your home. There is also a wakeup light with Avea. You can set your alarm using the built-in Wake-up Light scene. The alarm wakes you up with a small gleam that does not hurt your eyes. This is a 7W LED bulb of 430 lumens. The Avea bulb is available at $50.
