Asus took the Limelight by heralding ZenWatch 2 and ZenPads
It was really the day of Asus at Computex. It really rocked the stages of Computex by launching a number of innovative gadgets over its stages. The company launched the new version of ZenWatch. The company also introduces four new ZenPads.
ZenWatch 2 Specifics
Asus introduced ZenWatch 2 comes in two variant sizes. One is having a size of 37mm and another is measuring a dimension of 41mm. The strap of these watches come with a measurement of 18mm and 22mm strap sizes respectively. The case of the watch is made of three stainless steel designing. They come in silver finishes, gunmetal and rose gold. They also come in various materials featuring a number of various colours. The product is offered in rubber material with colour variants of orange, blue, taupe and red, while the leather material comes in gray, khaki, brown, orange and blue.
Another variant comes with a stainless steel link bracelet in rose gold, gunmetal and silver. Yet another variant features leather strap with Swarovski crystals and with diamond pattern. The ZenWatch is also having a crown on one of its side. But unfortunately the functionality of this is unknown. The charger features a magnetic charging. The company claims that this method has improved the time taken to make it full charge.
Features of ZenPads
The company also revealed four variants of ZenPads in the Computex held at Taipei. The models include 7-inched Zenpad 7 with a model name of Z370C/CG/CL, 8-inched Zenpad 8.0 with a model name of Z380C/KL. Another variant of this model comes with an option of Z stylus features a screen size of 8 inches with name of ZenPad S, with a model name of Z580C/CA. The last among the four models comes with a screen size of 10 inches having the name ZenPad 10.1 having a model name of Z300C/CG/CL. This model features an optional keyboard.
Specifics of ZenPad S 8.0
Even though the company revealed these models, company mainly talks about ZenPad S 8.0. This model features a screen size of 8 inches with a screen resolution of 2048*1536 with IPS display. The processor that make the tab functions comes from the Intel with 64-bit and with the name Intel Atom Z3580 processor. This processor is supported by an in-built RAM of 4GB for the swift and smooth functioning of the tab. The tablet comes in markets with a metallic finish case with hairline pattern. They also features diamond cut edges which gives them an elegant look.
The ZenPad 8.0 comes with a thickness of 6.6mm and having a weight of 298 grams. This model also features an optional feature Z Stylus with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. It also assists with 1.2 mm writing tip. The company haven’t announced any details regarding the pricing of the tablets and also no details regarding release date is available.
