Display and the Processor Specs

The new tab is only WiFi enabled which means it is not SIM compatible. The tab has got a display of 9.6 inched edge to edge with a screen resolution of 1280*800 pixels. The display is perfected with WXGA TFT. Coming to the processor, the device runs on a Quad Core processor with a processing speed of 1.3GHz with a RAM of 1.5GB. The gadget runs on Android version of 4.4KitKat, not on Lollipop, and that would repel the usual users from trying this. It has got an inbuilt storage capacity of 8GB, which can be expanded upto 128GB with the help of external microSD memory card.

Physical Dimensions, Battery and Camera Features

The gadget has got a measurement of 241.9*149.5*8.5mm with a weight of 490 grams. Within the case, it has got an irremovable battery with a capacity of 5000mAh. It will be more than enough to keep the tab functioning uninterruptedly for the whole day. When coming to the camera part, it has got a front snapper with 2MP lens which will be enough just to have some video chatting or some similar stuff.  The rear camera has got a 5MP lens that too without a flash.  We can’t expect much from a budget tab like this.

Other Specifics

The tab offers Bluetooth connectivity with the version 4.0. Connectivity to the tab can be established with the Micro USB with OTG and Glonass Options as well. Charging can also be done with the help of this micro USB. The gadget has got some additional features like Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Gyroscope. The company is expected to launch other variants of Tab E with 3G or 4G connectivity later.

Pricing and Availability

As mentioned earlier the gadget is launched exclusively in Taiwan for the time being. Later it is expected to hit various other markets across the world. The price of the new tablet comes to be $226 or €200. For the time being it is available in the company website. It will be available on stands by the end of June. It is expected to be liked by everyone since, it is the cheapest tab to be sold out by Samsung till date.
