Lenovo Pioneers the Hybrid Gadget Market with ThinkPad X1 Yoga, ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkVision X1
Lenovo expands the ThinkPad X1 series with two more extensive models. The smartphone giant has launched ThinkPad X1 Yoga tab and ThinkPad X1 Carbon. They had also launched ThinkVision X1 display packed with Type C USB port. Now let us see what Lenovo has packed these latest gadgets with.

The new launch of ThinkPad X1 Yoga is having a thickness of 16.7mm and weighs nearly 1.27Kg. It is the first ever convertible gadget from Lenovo to launch with Samsung OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. The display is optional and is loaded with 14 inches with a resolution of 2560*1440 pixels. This OLED display is optional. You can have 14 inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1920*1080 pixels instead. The device is also packed with Active Stylus which helps in connecting the device the keyboard. This also helps in charging the device when it is connected to the keyboard.The keyboard is loaded with the feature of Lift and Lock. Another uniqueness of the keyboard is that it is loaded with spill free keys. The keyboard is also loaded with trackpad which is denied in the tablet mode. Under the hoods you can find Core i7 vPro Skylake U-series processor that powers the gadget. This device has got an internal memory of 16GB and is loaded with an extensive storage capacity of 1TB with the help of PCIe NVMe SSD. The device is also packed with 3 USB ports of v3.0, which ensures faster data transfer. Connectivity is possible with the help of optional 4G LTE, OneLine+ for Ethernet, mDP and HDMI.

ThinkPad X1 Carbon
This variant of ThinkPad is comparatively thinner and lighter than X1 Yoga. Lenovo X1 Carbon is just 16.5mm thick and weighs nearly 1.1Kg. The display comes with a width of 14 inches and the screen resolution is optional which is either 2560*1440 pixels or 1920*1080 pixels. The processor of ThinkPad X1 Carbon is featured with Core i7 Skylake with the additional support from vPro. The internal storage comes to be 16GB while it can be extended upto 1TB with the help of PCIe NVMe. This device has got connectivity of 4G LTE, OneLink+ port, mDP and HDMI. This device is also packed with 3 USB ports of v3.0.
ThinkVision X1
Lenovo also launched ThinkVision X1 which features borderless display. The display is as wide as 27 inches which is UHD screen and got a screen resolution of 3840*2160 pixels. The display panel has got the thickness of 7.5mm. This device is also loaded with connecting Type C USB port and also includes DisplayPort 1.2 that enabled UHD at 60Hz. This device has also received TUV Eye-Comfort certification.
Pricing and Availability
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga is tagged with a price of $1449 and will be available from January onwards. Butthose with OLED display support will be available from April onwards only. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon is being priced at $1299 and will be available at all leading markets from February. ThinkVision X1 is tagged with a price of $799 and will be available from March.Other accessories availability details and pricing is as follows. The Wireless Touch Mouse is priced at $69.99, which will be available from later January onwards. The In-Ear Headphones are priced at $69.99 and will hit the market from the beginning of January. The sleeve of ThinkPad Xi is tagged with a price of $50 and will be made available from February onwards. 65W ThinkPad Micro Power Adapter is tagged with a price of $80 which will hit the market by later quarter of 2016.
