Google has officially announced Nexus 6 to its line of Android Smartphones. The Nexus is the flagship device which runs Google’s newest operating system, the Android 5.0, also called Android L. L stands for Lollipop, the codename for Android 5. This software will be the platform for the new flagships, the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 in the coming weeks.

Nexus 6 starts at a price of $649, which is a tangible jump from the $349 of the older Nexus models. Pricing and Availability
Nexus 6 is priced at $649 and will be available for preorder through the Google Play Store starting late October. You can choose between the colors Midnight Blue and Cloud White. The device is obtainable in two memory options, 32GB and 64GB. Nexus 6 will be available on motorola.com and through 5 carriers in the US starting this November. Nexus 6 will sell in 28 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific starting later this year. The major carriers AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular will be carrying the Nexus 6 and will offer the phone on a contract basis. Availability through the Play Store is without a contract.
