The world’s much awaited phone has launched by Apple at last. Unlike any other phones, Apple’s iphone has to fulfill lot of expectations to the users worldwide. Previous iphone models have the history of becoming the benchmark of smartphone development. They have to keep the same reputation and integrity in every aspect. Let us see how Apple iphone 6 series going to snatch the hearts of its fellow customers.

In fact Apple iphone 6 series is groundbreaking as usual and no one can hesitate this fact. They have completely moved from the traditional iphone making formulas in order to raise their new born. iphone 6 series devices are completely an advanced successor of previous versions. From iphone 4 to 6 lot of changes were made with the processor, camera speed,battery backup etc. and of course they have followed their long principle of ‘make it slimmer’. They have made iphone 6 series significantly bigger than the 5S devices and also it is much-much bigger than the 4S. It will be very hard for the iphone users to keep it within the pant pockets as they failed to follow the easy portability factor that is very essential for the smartphone designs. The bigger size may irritate the user while he moves when it is on his pockets. Many of the Android devices are now following the Bezel free design in order to reduce the overall size. But iphone 6 devices came up with larger bezels which cannot be considered as trendy design now days.

Apple has always been very keen to bring the perfect accessibility to its devices and they have followed the same. They have not ignored their practice of better build quality and kept its usual standard with the phone design. The rounded corners and aluminium coating on both sides is exactly the replica of its predecessors. The phone is too easy to handle despite its larger size and one hand operation made simple with the device. This gadget weights around 130 grams which is not at all heavy or too light for its build size. By following the conventional phone making they have kept the volume controls on the left side and also managed to bring place SIM card slot on the right. But unconventionally the headphone socket is on the bottom which is completely different from its main rival Samsung. The bottom part includes the positioning of speaker as well. Specifications

This time Apple entered into the market with brand new 64 bit A8 processor. Initially they have introduced the 64 bit chips on their 5s version. We all know how 64 bit chips changed the entire flow of performance of that model. This is one reason for the success of 5s actually. Apple is unchanged about their decision to implement the same configuration chip with the iPhone 6 series too. They have been successful in reducing the fragmentation usually occurs on the storage mediums which considerably affect the performance of the device after the usage of 64-bit architecture. It is well known that in the case of Android the fragmentation is severe and this will give iphone some advantages over the Android phones. But one of their biggest challenges during the release of iphone 5S was to develop apps that support the 64 bit architecture and they were successful in fulfilling it. Without much changes from the 5s devices their latest model has no such concerns of configuration issues. Another innovative move by the mighty Apple is the introduction of M8 co-processor. I could see the improved battery backup from the previous versions. M8 co-processor specially dedicated for the motion sensors is present in the device. One of the main advantages of this move is to reduce the power usage by processing the sensor input instantly. Thus the device doesn’t have to depend much on the primary processor.

According to the Apple, they claim that the new A8 processor has improved the CPU performance by 25% and graphics by 50%. When I used the phone, I felt it’s true. The device has provided some extra ordinary gaming experience without any lag while playing HD games like Modern Combat 5, Infinity Blade etc. The game play is too smooth and it gives you an incredible experience that never felt before. Other than High level Android devices, Apple has secured the ARM’s architectural license. Most of its competent has only processor license and they use Qualcomm devices in the place of CPU core.  This time Apple has secured the right to build their own CPU core based on the ARM architecture and we can see this on the performance capability of the device. The device has only 1 GB RAM which is not the best of the configurations available in the market today and is not reasonable to the price.

I would say this is the best phone available in the market in the case of display. The same old retina display technology is used in the phone. But this time a pixel density of 401ppi is available with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The HD games are at its best with the display features provided by the phone. The pure combination of lag less architecture and Retina HD display has made it flawless. The images are too sharp and I am completely astonished with the perfection.  The 5.5 inch display is a bit hard to carry as I mentioned earlier. But you won’t regret to see the perfect clarity images within this unique display. They have also mentioned the presence of shatter proof glass and olephobic coating. I am amazed to see the absence of finger prints on the screen after prolonged use. As usual there is no external card expansion slot available with the device. The user has to rely on the internal storage completely and is going to be hard for him to keep high resolution images and videos within the phone. The internal storage variants of 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB are available in the market ranges from $299 to $499.

Camera

It is always a privilege to write about the camera quality of Apple iphone devices. They have done extra ordinary work with the cameras used in the device. You can see lot of differences from the iphone 5s device on this phone. They have introduced some exciting features like Video stabilization, Slow-motion facility which ranges between 120fps and 240fps. I have tried the slow motion feature on low light as well and the result was incredible. Also the improved autofocus locking felt to me like image stabilizers used in DSLR devices. Actually the optical image stabilization is also there which considerably mitigate the problems of shaky hands. One of the main things I have noticed is the exposure adjustment slider which is very handy while taking pictures on unpredictable conditions. Thanks to the GUI of the camera this time. The user won’t have to depend on any other third party tools available in the Apple store. One of the main drawbacks that I noticed is the absence of 4K recording in low versions. Many high level devices of its very own competent have already included the exciting 4K recording feature. Trendy Apple should have included the feature as they always look for the vogue. If you can buy the highest configuration 128 GB device then 4K video recording feature is available. The camera of this device is a rocker for low light photography as well as the daylight. You can completely utilize the 8 MP camera at its best. The miscellaneous features like geo-tagging, simultaneous HD video and image recording are great advantages to the device. The 1.2 MP camera is also an unsuitable configuration for the price as the usage of front camera is increasing day by day. After using the iphone camera it is clear that why conventional camera makers are under pressure. Iphone 6 series is capable of taking brilliant images and also lightweight which surely going to worry them. I have to say there is no camera available in the market that can match up with the photo quality provided by the same iphone 6 Series. The saga of perfect camera development continues.

Performance

Last year they have amused their rivals by introducing the A7 processors on the 5s. The processing power of 64 bit architecture has completely outrun quad-core of Samsung and other available architectures. This time have upgraded the processing power and introduced the A8. You cannot expect much performance hike when you see the configuration of this iphone series. But it’s the 1.4 GHz dual core A8 processor has made all the difference. It is very noticeable when you start using the device. The touch id and finger print recognition is working faster than never before. Other than HD games the video playback is amazing with the phone. You will have to dig long down to find something called lag. Even 50 mbps 4K video playback seems to be flawless. But I could see some lag while playing the 100 mbps 4K video. This is not a serious flaw because 4K playback is so rare with mobile phones currently.

The phone feels like a box with a large screen. You won’t feel any complexity in doing instant messaging with the large screen. The accuracy simply higher with the screen .Another interesting thing with the device is the presence of smart keyboard. It can suggest words to you based on where you type. Formal words for the emails and chat words for the messaging apps. It was very easy for me to do typing with the feature as I could type a page long email within no time. The landscape mode for the apps is absolutely perfect. It was a headache for the mobile users to access the apps in landscape mode. This perfection is not available with many phones in the market. The battery performance is also improved substantially. You can buy the phone for this reason. The new iphone could hold charge for the entire day after charging that too after prolonged video playback and wifi usage. Performance wise this device is absolutely amazing and is reasonable. People say iphones are costly but you will feel good for the every single penny that you spent to buy this phone.

The new upgrades to their well-known iOS8 have also done its part in making the device a masterpiece. You cannot find much better performance from any of the devices available in the market today. This device has its own unique features that can be considered as smart. It is very hard to say how this phone has impressed the regular iphone users but a new iphone user will love this device as the experience is absolutely new to them for sure. The phone can be described in one sentence  as oversized yet efficient.
