Lenovo announces their new Tab S8. The Tab is stylish yet affordable at $199. The 8 inch FHD screen is having a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and One Glass Solution 10 point touch panel gives a crystal clear view to it as well. The front side is dominated by this display, thanks to its ultra-thin bezel. There is a 1.6 MP HD camera at the front for Video calling also. The Primary 8 MP Autofocus camera has f2.2 lens which deliver great low light images and SHAREit app, which comes preloaded with the tab, let you share this pictures on the go.
The Intel Atom Z3745 used in this device is company’s first for an 8 inch tablet and it’s said to provide maximum performance without compromising its battery life and the overall built of the device, which is evident in its overall weight at just 0.65 pounds 299 grams and thickness at just 0.31 inches.
There is an option to choose high speed LTE connectivity, other than that there is Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth 4.0. You will get up to 7 hours of battery backup with embedded 4290 mAh Li ion battery. The tab runs on Android Kitkat 4.4, it has got 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, the device is 64 bit technology compatible. The Dolby-enhanced front speakers are likely to perform well. The tablet is available in Ebony, Blue, Canary yellow and white colors.
The tab has an Intel Atom quad core Z3745 processor clocked at 1.86 GHz. The Display is actually a WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 which is higher than an FHD display which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080.The overall dimension of the device is 209.8 x 123.8 x 7.9 mm.
The Tab, which is priced at $199, will start shipping from September and will be available from major retailers and lenovo.com
