A recent news leaked from China based wireless firm TENAA reports a major announcement from the smartphone company HTC regarding its new flagship One E9. This phone is a successor of its One E8 which was released the previous year. This phone has features some derived from HTC One M9 along with its own distinguished features.

HTC One E9 will be unique in its processing unit as it has got the new MediaTek processor with octa-core. This is a innovation from HTC as it prefers Qualcomm Snapdragon processors in its devices. The reason behind using the MediaTek processor may be to give One E9 an edge in its processing capacity. This will enable it to handle complex operations and multitasking requirements with great ease.

Some pictures showed a huge camera lens at the back of the device close to its top edge. The device reportedly will be having a 20 MP rear camera while the front camera can be of 13 MP or 4 MP ultra-pixel camera.

As per above details, it seems that it will be a more user friendly version of One M9 which will stand high on performance . With a bigger screen and better processor, this phone can be categorized into the so called ‘Phablet’ section.
