HTC come up with its budget series of smartphones for United States. The company last day launched four smartphones. The handsets were named as HTC Desire 626, Desire 626s, Desire526 and Desire 520. They will be available with a number of wireless carriers all along US shortly. These wireless carriers are expected to sell these handsets both in prepaid mode as well in postpaid mode.
All the four handsets are powered by an elementary chipset from Qualcomm. They all run on Snapdragon 210 chipset with a processing speed of 1.1GHz. All these are features with a Quad-Core processing unit. These four handsets are compatible to 4G LTE connectivity. Apart from this all the handsets functions on the OS from Android with v5.1 Lollipop. In addition to this they are again supported by HTC Sense 7 User Interface.
HTC Desire 626
Among the four handsets, the most efficient one is HTC Desire 626. They are available with AT&T and Verizon. This particular handset is packed with a RAM of 1.5GB. The inbuilt storage capacity of the smartphone comes to be 16GB and it can be expandable with the help of external memory card. The handset features a display of 5 inches with a screen resolution of 720 pixels. It has got a fine camera system. The rear one comes with a lens of 8MP and the front cam features with 5MP. Both these cameras are capable of recording video with 720 pixel quality. The battery with a capacity of 2000mAh keeps the handset alive.
HTC Desire 626S
When it is compared to Desire 626, this handset is less efficient. It has got a RAM of just 1GB. The internal memory also comes to be 8GB, which can be expandable with the help of external memory card if required. The display seems to be similar to that of Desire 626 with 5 inches wide screen with a resolution of 720 pixels. The main camera of Desire 626S is packed with a lens of 8MP and the front cam is packed with a lens of 2MP. With 2000mAh battery the handset stays live for the whole day.
Certain other common features for Desire 626 and Desire 626S includes that both these provide full package of connectivity features. They both offer WiFi connectivity along with Bluetooth compatibility with v4.1. Apart from these, both handsets is packed with a microUSB port of v2.0. The difference comes when 626 packs with NFC and 626S do not offer the support.
HTC Desire 526
Desire 526 is packed with a RAM of 1.5GB with an inbuilt memory of 8GB. It can be expandable with the help of external memory card if wanted. The screen is as wide as 4.7 inches featuring qHD display. The primary camera is packed with 8MP while the secondary is packed with 2MP. This handset also offers a battery with the capacity of 2000mAh. Connectivity is offered by Bluetooth of v4.1 along with WiFi connectivity and microUSB v2.0.
HTC Desire 520
Among the four, this model is comparatively less priced. The screen is 4.5 inches wide with FWVGA display. The RAM is limited to 1GB with the support of internal storage capacity of 8GB. It can be expanded with the help of external memory card. The main camera comes with 8MP and the front cam features 2MP. The battery is packed with a capacity of 2000mAh. Connectivity is supported by WiFi, Bluetooth of v4.1 and microUSB with v2.0.
