Windows 8 users face the problem with its Start Screen. It is actually good for nothing and truly irritates the Windows 8 users. When Microsoft introduced Windows 10, the company tried to solve the problem. They tried to solve it by providing a distinct full screen tablet mode which is expected to please those annoyed users.
What is Tablet Mode?
Tablet Mode is actually a new insertion to Windows 10, which will involuntarily stimulate full screen tablet mode, instantly at the moment you detach it from the keyboard. When it is separated, the Start Menu turns full screen same as Store Apps and Settings do as well. When it is in tablet mode, the Desktop becomes unavailable. For instance if you try opening File Explorer, this will appear as maximized. So in Tablet Mode, you will spend most of your time interacting with the Start Menu which is in Full Screen state.
You can customize the Start Menu in the case of Desktop Menu, where a keyboard and mouse is attached to the system. This is the mode where you can adjust the size of your screen according to your whims and fancies. Suppose if you are having a touchscreen and if it can be separated from the keyboard, then you are allowed to customize its settings. You are also allowed to turn Tablet Mode On and make certain changes in it.
How to Customize Tablet Mode?
You can manually Turn On/Off Tablet Mode. To do so you have to open Settings Menu and then select System Group. Then you have to clock on either On or Off which you may find beneath the option Make Windows more touch friendly to turn on or off the tablet mode. You are allowed to customize the mode which appears before you, when you sign in.
In tablet mode, the change that you may notice will be the conversion of Start Menu to Start Screen, which appears as similar as in Windows 8. You may also notice that the icons on taskbar also gets changed accordingly, leaving you with only back button, virtual desktop button and search icon. If you would like to see your other application’s icons also, you can have them by altering the Settings to show or hide them in Tablet Mode. With the help of Full Screen Mode in Windows 10, it became easy for the users to handle certain apps, folders and settings by tapping on your mouse button.
Here you are allowed to select All Apps, which appears in bottom left corner. It can be used to launch any of your installed applications. Even though the desktop remains unavailable in Tablet Mode, you can still access the desktop folder from File Explorer. The most notable advantage of Tablet Mode is that it suits more with touch screens, where no keyboard comes for you aid. You are allowed to handle the device easily and comfortably with Tablet Mode.
